testpagelab Free printer test pages, exact at 100% scale

Privacy

Short version: this site gives you test pages and printable paper and takes back a count. No accounts, no cookies, no third party requests, and one small beacon of our own that counts page views and, on some pages, whether a store link or a download link was shown and clicked. This page states exactly what that means and the one exception involved in serving any website.

Printing and downloads

When you press print, your browser renders the sheet and hands it to your operating system's print dialog. That happens on your machine; the page contents never travel anywhere. The PDF downloads are static files: requesting one tells the server which file to send, and nothing about what you do with it afterwards is visible to us. Nothing you print, download or measure is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to: the site is static files with no accounts and no application server beyond the counter described below.

On the paper pages (graph, lined and staff paper), the sheet, its preview and its PDF and PNG files are made by code running in the page, on your device. The spacing, colors and margins you choose are not sent anywhere. The ready-made paper PDFs are static files like the test pages.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. It keeps one random sixteen character id in your browser's session storage, which exists only for the open tab and is discarded when the tab closes. The id lets us count a visit once rather than once per page; it is not tied to you, it is sent nowhere but testpagelab.com, and it does not carry between tabs or between days. On the paper pages, your paper size is chosen from your browser's language setting each time the page loads and is not stored. Nothing here needs a consent banner because nothing here identifies you or persists.

What we count

Each page you open sends one short message to testpagelab.com's own server: the page's address, the kind of page it is, the tab id above and the time. On the reading guide, the one link to a store sends a message when it comes into view and another if it is clicked, so we can tell how often a link that was shown gets used. On each paper page, six download links do the same: the PDF and PNG buttons for US Letter and A4, and the two ready-made PDFs. That tells us which paper people print on and how often a sheet that was shown gets downloaded. Cloudflare adds the country the request came from. That is the whole record: no IP address is stored, no browser fingerprint is taken, no name, no email, nothing about the settings you choose beyond the paper size, and nothing about what you print. The counts tell us how many pages a visit reads, whether the store link is worth having and how the sheets get used; they are not sold or shared with anyone.

Analytics and third parties

No third party analytics or tracking script is loaded on any page; the counting above is our own code, served from testpagelab.com. The pages make no requests to any third party domain: no fonts from font services, no scripts from CDNs, no embedded content. Everything the site serves comes from testpagelab.com.

The one exception: serving the site

Like any website, these pages reach you through a hosting provider, in our case Cloudflare, whose servers necessarily see the standard technical details of each request: your IP address, the user agent string your browser sends, and which file was requested. That is how the web works rather than a choice we made, those logs stay with the provider under its own privacy policy, and the counting described above stores none of them.
